Reflexology
Reflexology works on the feet or hands enabling the body to heal itself. Following illness, stress or injury the body can be in a state of 'imbalance' and vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium and encourage healing. It is a non-invasive gentle therapy whereby reflexes in the feet, which are believed to reflect different parts of the body, are stimulated.
Maternity reflexology is a type of reflexology that specifically offers care to women at the pre-conception stage by helping the body be as optimally ready to conceive, as well as providing support through pregnancy and all the changes the body goes through, to birthing and postnatal care.
Menopause Reflexology
Aimed at women going through and suffering with symptoms of Perimenopause and Menopause, Reflexology has been found to be very effective in helping both the physical and emotional symptoms of the menopause without the side effects associated with drug based treatments. It is a truly wonderful therapy to help women through their journey. Reflexology can help to reduce the stress that can cause a lot of the symptoms, achieved by working on the pituitary gland, the hypothalamus and the adrenal reflex points.
